Pfeiffer's Nelms Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University's Olivia Nelms was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Apr. 18-24, the conference announced today.
Nelms, a junior from Chesterfield, England, notches her third consecutive Conference Carolinas weekly award and fourth overall after posting a 4-0 combined record in singles and doubles competition last week. She would register a 6-4,6-2 straight-set victory in No. 1 singles play against Mount Olive and then notch an 8-2 win at No. 2 doubles. Against Belmont abbey, she would win 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles and 8-4 at No. 2 doubles.
