Seven Conference Carolinas Baseball Players Named ABCA/Rawlings All-Region

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Seven Conference Carolinas baseball players were named to the 2016 Southeast All-Region teams by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), the association announced today.

Four players would land on the first team, with University of Mount Olive's Zak Orrison and Bruce Zimmerman leading the way. Rounding out the group would be Barton College's Dylan Ward and King University's Ryan Whitt.

On the second team, Barton's Andrew Webster would be joined by the Erskine College duo of Henry Faunce and Joe Johnson.

First team selections are now eligible for ABCA/Rawlings All-America honors. ABCA/Rawlings All-Americans and Gold Glove winners will be announced on Monday, May 30, 2016.
