Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Second Round NCAA Super Regional Recap

PENSACOLA, FLA. – Conference Carolinas' three participants in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf South Super Regional completed second round play on Tuesday afternoon.

Limestone College currently sits in 12th-place on the team leaderboard after shooting a 317 for a two-day total of 628. Noelia Cortez, who shot a second round 77, is tied for 38th with a two-day total of 156. Not far behind is the duo of Reme Cortes and Taylor McInnis, who shot identical scores of 79 on day two and sit in a tie for 42th place with identical scores of 157 after two days. Hannah Luckett shot an 84 in the second round and has an overall score of 160 after two rounds of play and is tied for 54th. Sydney Landreth is tied for 56th after two rounds, as she shot an 82 on Tuesday and holds a 161 two-day score.

Erskine College's Krysta Schaus shot an 81 and has a two-day total of 156, which puts her in a tie for 38th. University of Mount Olive's Julie Loennechen posted a second round score of 83 and is tied for 56th after shooting a combined 161 over the first two days of the tournament.

Players will return to the links Wednesday for the final day of play with Limestone's first player teeing off at 8:30 a.m., while Schaus and Loennechen will both tee off at 9:20 a.m.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
