Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Third Round NCAA Super Regional Recap
PENSACOLA, FLA. – Conference Carolinas' three participants in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf South Super Regional closed out the final round of play on Wednesday afternoon.
Limestone College closed the regional in 12th after shooting a three-day total of 955, firing a 327 as a team on Wednesday. Sydney Landreth led the Saints in the third round with a 79, while tallying a three round total of 240 to finish tied for 53rd. Noelia Cortez and Taylor McInnis each shot an 82 in round three and closed out the tournament in ties for 42nd (238) and 51st (239), respectively. Reme Cortes would post a three-day total of 241 after her 84 on Wednesday and finished tied for 55th. Rounding out scores for Limestone was Hannah Luckett with an 86 in the third round and a tie for 63rd after firing a three round total of 246.
Erskine College's Krysta Schaus shot an 82 in the third round and closed out the regional with a three-day total of 238, which earned her a tie for 42nd.
University of Mount Olive's Julie Loennechen posted a third round score of 84 and finished tied for 61st after shooting a combined 245 over the three-day tournament.
NCAA South Super Regional Central
Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
