Conference Carolinas Men's Golf Third Round NCAA South/Southeast Regional Recap

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, FLA. – Griffin Brown of Limestone College booked a trip to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship on Wednesday afternoon, as Conference Carolinas' participants completed the third and final round of the NCAA Division II Men's Golf South/Southeast Regional.

Brown would shoot a third round score of 74, which gave him a fifth-place finish after posting a three-day total of 213. As a team, Limestone finished the regional tied for eighth after shooting a 302 in the third round to give them a three round total of 893. Cabrick Waters and Clayton Presant each shot a third round 75, which earned Waters a tie for 36th on a three-day total of 226 and PResant a tie for 67th with a three round score of 231. Matt Mullarkey turned in a three round score of 229 for a tie at 54th after shooting a 79 on Wednesday. Closing out Limestone's scores was Will Woodard's tie for 86th with a 78 in round three and three-day total of 236.

North Greenville University would shoot a 313 on Wednesday and finished the regional in 17th after compiling a three-day total of 922. Christian Constance finished tied for 19th after a three-day total of 220 (75-73-72), while Seth Robertson carded a three round total of 230 (79-72-79) for a tie at 59th. Evan Gfeller finished tied for 80th with a three-day total of 234 (74-83-77) and Vijay Mishra turned in a 240 (78-76-86) to finish tied for 95th. Rounding our the scores for North Greenville was Chase Fisher's 102nd-place finish with a three round total of 246 (79-82-85).

Nick Adams of University of Mount Olive finished the regional in a tie for 50th after shooting a third round 73 and three-day total of 228.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
