Six Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Players Named to Preseason All-America Team by HERO Sports
HIGH POINT, N.C. - Six Conference Carolinas men's soccer players were named to the 2016 HERO Sports Preseason Division II Men's Soccer All-America Team, HERO Sports announced recently.
Defending national champion, Pfeiffer University, led the way with five total preseason All-Americas, including three first team selections. Forward Nathan Regis, who was the 2015 National Player of the Year, was named first team along with midfielder Martim Galvao and defender Cristobal Allendes. Rounding out Pfeiffer's preseason All-Americas was forward Jaime Siaj on the second team and forward Santi Moar on the third team.
Limestone College's Gui Machado was the sixth Conference Carolinas men's soccer player to earn preseason All-America honors, as he was named a third team selection.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
