Pfeiffer's Regis Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University forward Nathan Regis has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 5-11, the Conference announced today.

Regis, a senior from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, led the Falcons to a 1-1 record last week against two of the best team in Florida in Palm Beach Atlantic and No. 4 Lynn. Regis would score three goals on three shots for his six points in the two matches.

Against 2015 Elight Eight participant Palm Beach Atlantic, Regis would net two goals in a span of 5:44 to give the Falcons a 3-1 lead going into halftime. Pfeiffer would eventually notch a 5-2 win to claim the second longest winning streak in NCAA Division II history at 28 matches. However, Pfeiffer's 28-match winning streak would come to an end in a 2-1 loss to No. 4 Lynn, who claimed the 2014 national championship. Regis would score the Falcons lone goal in the contest.

Regis sits atop the Conference Carolinas standings in points (12), goals (4) and assists (4).
