Limestone's Waters Named Conference Carolinas Men's Bimonthly Golfer of the Month
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone men's golfer Cabrick Waters has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Golfer of the Month for the month of September, the conference announced today.
Waters, a senior from Gaffney, SC., had a solid month of September, leading the Saints to a top-5 finish at the Kiawah Island Invitational (5th).
Individually, Waters lead the field by two strokes after carding a 65 (-7) in the first round. He finished the tournament with a two-day score of 137 (-7). Waters held on to his two-stroke lead during the second round, to claim top medalist honors in Kiawah. This was his first collegiate tournament win.
Also nominated for Men's Golfer of the Month: Nick Adams (Mount Olive), John Molyneaux (Belmont Abbey) and Robert Wilkinson (King).
