Belmont Abbey's Skyers Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College forward Cierra Skyers has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 19-25, the Conference announced today.

A senior from Oshawa, Ontario, Skyers paced the Crusaders to a 3-1 win in its lone game of the week against conference foe Emmanuel. The striker would take six shots, placing five on goal, and netting all three goals for six points for Belmont Abbey.

Skyers ranks third in Conference Carolinas in goals (4) and fourth in points (8).
