Pfeiffer Moves to No. 6 in NSCAA National Rankings; Limestone Holds at No. 14

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Pfeiffer University and Limestone College both stayed put inside the top 15 of the rankings for the third straight week, according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II Poll.

Pfeiffer moved up one spot to No. 6 after notching two wins last week. The Falcons would win 5-0 over Francis Marion, while beating Lees-McRae 5-2 in Conference Carolinas action.

The Saints stayed placed at No. 14 after turning in another 2-0 week. Limestone picked up Conference Carolinas wins over Lees-McRae and North Greenville with scores of 4-2 and 4-0, respectively.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
