Belmont Abbey's Henriott Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College outside hitter Alexandra Henriott has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played during the week of Sept. 19-25, the Conference announced today.
A senior from St. Augustine, Fla., Henriott paced the Crusaders to a 3-0 week in Conference Carolinas play and extended their win streak to five matches. She tallied 38 kills and 47 digs on the week, notching two double-doubles on the way.
In a 3-2 win over Lees-McRae, Henriott would put away 12 kills and dig 11 balls. She would follow that performance up with an 18-kill, 17-dig match in a 3-2 win over Barton, while registering 19 digs and eight kills in a 3-1 victory over Mount Olive.
Henriott ranks 15th in Conference Carolinas in both kills (104) and digs (135).
