Limestone Cracks Top 25 of NSCAA National Rankings; Pfeiffer Remains No. 1

KANSAS CITY, MO. – After nearly an 11-month absence from the national rankings, the Limestone College Saints reentered the ranks at No. 19, according to the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II Poll.

Conference Carolinas is also still the home of the No. 1 team in the nation, as the Pfeiffer University Falcons remained in the top spot after pushing their winning streak to 27 games.

Both the Saints and Falcons turned in 2-0-0 records last week to open the 2016 season.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
