Limestone's Rocklein Named Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College outside hitter Kevin Rocklein has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for games played from Jan. 23-29, the Conference announced today.

Rocklein, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., kept the Saints on top of the Conference Carolinas standings after leading them to a 2-0 week. He posted a 2.86 kills per set average with 20 kills and hit .372 for the week, adding eight digs and three blocks.

In a 3-1 win over Emmanuel, Rocklein hit .385 with 12 kills and added four digs and one service ace. He would follow that performance up with eight kills, four digs and three blocks in a 3-0 sweep of reigning Conference Carolinas champion Erskine.

Rocklein ranks seventh in Conference Carolinas with 2.71 kills per set, while ranking ninth in four other categories: hitting percentage (.256), points per set (3.3), service aces per set (.29) and digs per set (1.86).
