Limestone's Kearse Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Jasmine Kearse has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 2-8, the Conference announced today.
Kearse, a senior from St. Augustine, Fla., guided the Saints to a pair of wins over first-place teams last week. She averaged 18 points, 7.5 assists and four rebounds in the two wins.
In a 79-53 rout of King, Kearse would notch 15 points, four assists, three boards and two steals. She would follow that performance with a double-double of 21 points and 11 assists in a 74-65 victory over Mount Olive.
Kearse is averaging 17.1 points and 5.3 assists on the season. She ranks first in Conference Carolinas with the 5.3 assists per game and second with her 17.1 points per game.
