Limestone's Harris Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College forward Donovan Harris has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Jan. 2-8, the Conference announced today.
Harris, a junior from Burlington, N.C., was a glass cleaner for the Saints in their two Conference Carolinas wins last week. The forward averaged 17.5 rebounds to go along with 7.5 points per game and shot 63.6 percent from the field.
In a 78-75 overtime win over King, Harris would post a double-double by setting a Limestone record with 20 rebounds and adding 10 points. Against Mount Olive in a 76-51 victory, Harris snatched 15 boards and tallied five points.
Harris averages eight points and 8.5 rebounds per game this season. He ranks second in Conference Carolinas with his 8.5 boards per game..
