Limestone's Shaw Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College defender Millie Shaw has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 25 - Oct. 1, the Conference announced today. This marks Limestone's second straight Conference POTW honor.

Shaw, a junior from Halifax, England, was a playmaking machine for Limestone, as she dished five assists and scored one goal for seven points on the week. Her performance on the pitch pushed the No. 19 Saints' Conference Carolinas regular season winning streak to 17. 

In a 9-0 victory over King, Shaw dished three helpers and netted one goal. She closed out the week with two assists in a 4-1 win over Chowan.

Shaw tops the Conference Carolinas statistical standings in assists (7), while ranking fifth in points (13) and 10th in goals (3).
