Chowan's Lucci Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Chowan University forward Carolina Lucci has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played the week of Oct. 16-22, the Conference announced today. This marks Lucci's fifth POTW honor this year and third consecutive.  

Lucci, a freshman from Monaca, Pa., posted six points on three goals to help the Hawks go 2-0-0 last week. She would tally two scores in a 3-0 non-conference win over Shaw, while netting one goal in a 2-0 league win over Southern Wesleyan.

Lucci continues her dominance in Conference Carolinas by leading the league in points (38), goals (17) and game-winning goals (9).
