HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College completed its quest for a three-peat on Saturday (Nov. 4) night by winning the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship with a 1-0 victory over Lees-McRae College. The Saints move to 17-2-1 overall, while the Bobcats dropped to 5-12-3 on the season.

The Saints also swept the regular season and tourney titles for the second consecutive year, while booking their third straight trip to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship as an automatic qualifier.

The squads would play to a 0-0 tie the first 45 minutes of action. The lone goal would come off the foot of Limestone forward Megan O'Connor in the 49th minute of play. The Limestone defense would prove too much for Lees-McRae the rest of the way, as the Bobcats only managed to put two shots on goal in the match.

Limestone will learn its 2017 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship draw on Monday (Nov. 6) night at 6 p.m. on the NCAA Selection Show.
