Limestone Earns Bid to 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College earned a bid to the 2017 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship, the NCAA announced today. The Saints received the No. 6 seed in the Southeast Region as an automatic qualifier after winning the 2016 Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship on Sunday (Nov. 6) afternoon.
The Saints (17-2-1) will play No. 3 seed Flagler University in the first round. The match will be played on the campus of the Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga., with the winner facing the Cougars in the second round.
