Belmont Abbey's Jandyala Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College's Aisiri Jandyala was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 6-12, the Conference announced today.

Jandyala, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., had an impressive week for the Crusaders, going a combined 4-0 in singles and doubles against two top 50 ranked teams. Against No. 42 Augusta, Jandyala would take her flight at No. 1 singles with a score of 8-6, while notching an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Against No. 30 USC Aiken, Jandyala would post an 8-5 win at No. 1 singles and an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles.
