Mount Olive's Hanle Named Conference Carolinas Women's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Leah Hanle has been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for meets held Feb. 6-12, the Conference announced today.
A freshman from Lichtenstein, Germany, Hanle broke one of Mount Olive's longest held records in the 5000 meter run at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Hanle would take first in the event and run it in a NCAA Provisional qualifying time of 17:31.66, which destroyed the old school record of 18:20.47.
