74 Indoor Track & Field Athletes Named Academic All-Conference
HIGH POINT, N.C. - Conference Carolinas is proud to announce the 2016-2017 Indoor Track and Field Academic All-Conference teams. "Academics and Athletics Working Together" is the foundational principle of the conference and these student-athletes and member institutions which they represent exemplify this commitment.
A total of 74 Indoor Track & Field student-athletes have been named to the teams for the 2016-2017 season. Conference Carolinas’ Academic All-Conference Teams are comprised of junior and senior student-athletes who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution. The GPA is calculated based on the student-athlete’s cumulative average through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
The Indoor Track & Field championship will take place at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Sunday, February 19. All full members of Conference Carolinas will participate in the event. For updated information and results, follow the action on the Track & Field Championship Central website.
