Trio of Conference Carolinas Teams in Second NCAA Women's Basketball Southeast Regional Poll

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Conference Carolinas had three teams appear in the second set of NCAA Southeast Regional Women's Basketball Rankings, the NCAA announced recently.

Limestone College (23-3 in DII) held on to the No. 4 spot in this week's rankings. King University (20-6 in DII) saw itself move up one spot to No. 7, while University of Mount Olive (20-5 in DII) jumped two spots to No. 8.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
