Barton's Bosch Named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College's Julian Bosch was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 20-26, the Conference announced today.

Bosch, a freshman from Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, led Barton to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins by going a combined 3-1 last week.

Against North Greenville, Bosch dropped his No. 1 doubles match, but picked up the biggest win of his young career in his No. 1 singles flight. He would defeat the 2016 Conference Carolinas Player of the Year and No. 32 nationally ranked player, Sjors van Eck, 7-6 (6-0), 3-6, 7-6 (6-4). Bosch would then go 2-0 against Southern Wesleyan, picking up a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles and an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles.
