Southern Wesleyan's Dorley Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Southern Wesleyan University's Aimee Dorley was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Feb. 20-26, the Conference announced today.

Dorley, a senior from Purmerend, Netherlands, went 4-2 combined last week and led the Warriors to a pair of Conference Carolinas wins, including a victory over preseason favorite Mount Olive.

After dropping two matches in non-conference play, Dorley would register a 4-0 record the rest of the week. Against Mount Olive, she would pick up a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles and 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles. Against Barton, Dorley would close out the week with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4 singles and an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
