Belmont Abbey's Huss Named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College midfielder Billy Huss has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 6-12, the Conference announced today.

A junior from Elk Grove, Calif., Huss tallied two points (1g, 1a) while going 12-23 in faceoffs with five ground balls to lead Belmont Abbey to an 11-9 win over No. 9 Tampa.

Huss has scooped up 36 groundballs and gone 75-123 in faceoffs this season. He ranks third in Conference Carolinas in both ground balls and faceoffs, while ranking 10th in faceoff percentage (61.0)
