Limestone's Schulte Named Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College attack Jaylen Schulte has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 13-19, the Conference announced today.

Schulte, a senior from Edgewater, Md., scored six goals and dished out an assist for seven points and paced the No. 8 Saints to a 2-0 record last week. She would add seven ground balls and two caused turnovers to her weekly totals.

In a 16-6 nonconference win over Millersville, Schulte tallied four points (3g, 1a) to go with four ground balls and two caused turnovers. In a narrow 10-9 win over Mount Olive, Schulte would notch a hat-trick and scoop up three ground balls to lead Limestone to victory.

Schulte has 35 points on 28 goals and seven assists on the year. She ranks fifth in the league in goals, while ranking eighth in points.
