Belmont Abbey's Wiedemann Named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey College attack Adam Wiedemann has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 13-19, the Conference announced today. This marks Wiedemann's second POTW honor and the fourth straight for Belmont Abbey.

A junior from Caledon East, Ontario., Wiedemann put up five points (4g, 1a) on No. 9 Mount Olive to help the Crusaders to a lopsided 16-4 win.

Wiedemann has scored 18 points and dished out nine assists for 27 points on the season. Wiedemann ranks sixth in the Conference in goals, while ranking seventh in points and eighth in assists.
