No. 22 Limestone and King Earn Bids to 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship
HIGH POINT, N.C. – No. 22 Limestone College and King University earned bids to the 2017 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, the NCAA announced tonight.
The Saints received the No. 4 seed in the Southeast Region as an at-large team and will play No. 5 seed Lander University in the first round.
Tornado earned the No. 7 seed as an automatic qualifier after winning the 2017 Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship on Friday (Mar. 3) night. King will face No. 2 seed Wingate University in the first round.
The Southeast regional will be played Mar. 10, 11 and 13 on the campus of Columbus State University.
