Limestone's Sisk Named Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College attack Shannon Sisk has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 3-9, the Conference announced today. This marks Sisk's third POTW honor and the sixth for Limestone.
A junior from Brooklin, Ontario, Sisk had another stellar week on the field for the No. 7 Saints, tallying 17 points (3g, 14a) on 100% shooting while scooping up six ground balls and causing two turnovers.
In a 23-1 win over Lees-McRae, Sisk would dish out 10 helpers and find the back of the net on her lone shot of the contest for 11 points. As an encore in a 23-3 win over Chowan, Sisk would score twice and hand out four assists for six points and scoop up four ground balls.
Sisk has produced 78 points on 18 goals and 60 assists so far this season. She ranks first in Conference Carolinas in points and assists.
