Pfeiffer's Nelson Named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University attack Jared Nelson has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Apr. 3-9, the Conference announced today.

Nelson, a freshman Vestal, N.Y., tied a Pfeiffer record that stood for 20 years by dishing out nine assists in the Falcons' 20-7 win over Emmanuel last week. He would also score two goals to finish the game with 11 points while adding three ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Nelson has accounted for 51 points on 15 goals and 36 assists this season. He leads Conference Carolinas in both points and assists.

Also nominated for Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week: Ryan Maciejewski (Limestone), Jacob Ball (Mount Olive), Braeden Dixon (North Greenville) & Adam Wiedemann (Belmont Abbey)
