Limestone Earns Top Seed in 2017 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College will be the No. 1 seed in the 2017 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship after officially wrapping up a regular season championship on Monday (Apr. 17) afternoon. The Saints posted a 10-1 record in Conference Carolinas action.

Southern Wesleyan University nabbed the No. 2 seed after finishing the season 8-2, while North Greenville University took the No. 3 seed with an 8-2 league record. Erskine College will enter the championship as the No. 4 seed with its 7-4 conference mark.

Rounding out the participants are No. 5 University of Mount Olive (7-4), No. 6 Barton College (6-5), No. 7 Belmont Abbey College (4-7) and No. 8 Pfeiffer University (2-8).

The 2017 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship will be hosted by Erskine College on Apr. 21 - Apr. 23 at Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.

Quarterfinal 1: No. 1 Limestone vs. No. 8 Pfeiffer - 12 p.m.

Quarterfinal 2: No. 4 Erskine vs. No. 5 Mount Olive - 12 p.m.

Quarterfinal 3: No. 3 North Greenville vs. No. 6 Barton - 12 p.m.
