Pfeiffer's Walker and North Greenville's Coffrin Named Conference Carolinas Softball Players of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University's Chandler Walker was named the Conference Carolinas Softball Player of the Week, while North Greenville University's Amanda Coffrin was named Conference Carolinas Softball Pitcher of the Week for games played Apr. 17-23, the Conference announced today.
A junior from Bristol, Conn., Walker batted .462 with two doubles, a homer and nine RBI to lead the No. 4 Falcons to a 4-0 record last week.
Coffrin, a junior from Mauldin, S.C., picked up a pair of wins last week, giving up seven total hits in a combined 13 innings of work. She gave up no runs while striking out 10 and issuing three walks.
