62 Conference Carolinas Outdoor Track and Field Athletes Named Division II All-Region Honorees

NEW ORLEANS, LA. – All-Region honorees for the NCAA Division II outdoor track and field season were recognized recently by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The top five individuals in each event from each region earned the All-Region distinction, in addition to each of the members of the regions’ top three relay teams. Women’s honors went to 621 different athletes from 147 different institutions, while men’s All-Region honors went to 671 student-athletes from 144 different institutions.

Conference Carolinas had 62 individuals, 34 men and 28 women, receive southeast all-region honors. Of the 62, 15 men received all-region honors in multiple events, while seven women received multiple all-region recognition.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
