Six Conference Carolinas Baseball Players Named NCBWA All-America
PEMBROKE, N.C. - Six Conference Carolinas baseball players were named to the 2017 All-America team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the association announced Wednesday (May 24) afternoon.
University of Mount Olive led the way with two first team pitcher selections in Austin Hutchison and Zach Mozingo. Mozingo was also named second team as a designated hitter.
Barton College catcher Andrew Webster was tabbed first team along with Belmont Abbey College outfielder Nick Beinlich.
Limestone College earned one third team nod in Chase Allen, while Barton's Calvin Hawke was named honorable mention.
