Three Student-Athletes and Two Teams Represent Conference Carolinas on 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards List
NEW ORLEANS – The All-Academic Awards for 2016-17 NCAA Division II Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field were announced recently by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Conference Carolinas was represented by Lees-McRae College's men and women's track & field teams on the All-Academic Teams list. To be named All-Academic Team, programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.00 or greater.

Belmont Abbey College, Limestone College and North Greenville University each had one student-athlete earn All-Academic honors. To be named All-Academic, honorees must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have reached a provisional or automatic qualifying standard for the NCAA Championships in either the indoor or outdoor seasons.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
