Mount Olive's Craig Named Conference Carolinas Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Adam Craig has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran during the week of Sept. 4-10, the Conference announced today.
Craig, a senior from Lauder, Scotland, posted a runner-up finish at the Furman XC Classic hosted by Furman University. In his season debut, Craig broke his own UMO men's 8k record by finishing the race in 23:57.6, which was nearly two seconds faster than his previous record of 23:59. Craig's performance would pace the Trojans to a second-place team finish behind host Furman.
