Limestone's Hickson Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College defender Emma Hickson has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 18-24, the Conference announced today.
A sophomore from Blackpool, England, Hickson was part of a backline that allowed two goals on the week and kept the No. 20 Saints undefeated in Conference play. In addition to her defensive play, Hickson would also net her first three career goals as Limestone went 2-0 on the week.
In a 3-1 win over Emmanuel, Hickson would find the back of the net twice. She would close the week out with one goal in the Saints' 6-1 rout of Converse.
Hickson currently ranks seventh in Conference Carolinas with three goals.
