Mount Olive's Hanle Named Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Mount Olive's Leah Hanle has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for races ran the week of Sept. 24-30, the Conference announced today.

Leah Hanle, a junior from Lichtenstein, Germany, was the highest finishing Trojan for Mount Olive in the Women's Gold 6K race with her 8th place finish running a time of 20:46. Hanle was the second Division II runner to cross the line in a predominantly Division I school dominated race. Hanle's time at the Paul Short would qualify for second fastest in the UMO records behind her own PR of 20:28.
