Mount Olive's Hanle Named Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Mount Olive's Leah Hanle has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for races ran the week of Oct. 15 - 21, the Conference announced today. This marks Hanle's third POTW of the year and the fourth for Mount Olive.
Hanle picked up her first individual championship of the season with her first place finish at the NCAA National Preview held in Pittsburgh, Pa. The junior from Lichtenstein, Germany, finished the 6K race in 21:54, a full seven seconds faster than the runner in second place.
The 23rd nationally ranked Trojans finished 7th of 30 teams at the NCAA National Preview Meet.
