Mount Olive's Craig Named Conference Carolinas Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olives's Adam Craig has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for meets held Feb. 5 - Feb. 11, the Conference announced today.
A junior from Lauder, Scotland, Craig put forth a strong performance in the 5000 meter run at the GVSU Big Meet last Friday. His time of 14:36.04 was good for 15th place in a stacked field of nearly 200 runners. That time is both a national provisional qualifying mark and a school record. Craig sits atop the conference standings in that event going into the conference championship next weekend.
