2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Swimming Championship to be Held in Charlotte, N.C.
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The inaugural Conference Carolinas Women's Swimming Championship will be held Feb. 14-17, 2018 and hosted by the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center in Charlotte, N.C. The championship is being held in conjunction with the Bluegrass Mountain Conference and kicks off on Wednesday (Feb. 14) at 5 p.m.
Five Conference Carolinas women’s teams will compete in this year's event. That field includes full members Barton College, Converse College, King University, and Limestone College, while associate member Chowan University rounds out the participants.
Women from both Conference Carolinas and the Bluegrass Mountain will swim together in timed final events. However, each conference will be scored separately, with the top 16 individuals for each league scoring. The top three individual finishers and top three relays will be named All-Conference Carolinas.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 11 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
