Chowan's Novachuk Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Polina Novachuk was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Mar. 5-11, the Conference announced today. This marks her second consecutive POTW honor.

A senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Novachuk posted a combined 6-2 record last week at the No. 1 singles and doubles flights and led the Hawks to a 3-1 team record against a solid group of regionally ranked opponents.

No. 1 Singles - 0-6, 0-6
No. 1 Doubles - 3-8

Palm Beach Atlantic University:
No. 1 Singles - 6-3, 6-1
No. 1 Doubles - 8-4

Tiffin University:
No. 1 Singles - 7-5, 6-1
No. 1 Doubles - 8-2

Bluefield State College:
No. 1 Singles - 6-4, 6-0
No. 1 Doubles - 8-2
