Limestone's Neri Named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College's Pierluigi Neri was named Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 2-8, the Conference announced today. This marks both Neri and Limestone's second POTW honor of the season

A sophomore from Bologna, Italy, Neri played almost exclusively in doubles last week, going 3-1 at the No. 3 flight. His lone singles match would be at the No. 6 flight, which was a 6-4, 6-0 win against Division I opponent USC Upstate. Neri's play helped keep Limestone undefeated atop the Conference Carolinas men's tennis standings.

USC Upstate:
No. 6 Singles - 6-4, 6-0
No. 3 Doubles - 2-6

Lees-McRae College:
No. 3 Doubles - 8-1

Erskine College:
No. 3 Doubles - 8-5

Emmanuel College:
No. 3 Doubles - 8-3
