2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship Preview

HIGH POINT, N.C.Chowan University will be the No. 1 seed in the 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship after officially wrapping up a regular season championship on Saturday (Apr. 14) afternoon. The Hawks posted an 11-0 record in Conference Carolinas action.

Barton College nabbed the No. 2 seed after finishing the season 9-2, while Limestone College took the No. 3 seed with an 8-3 league record. Belmont Abbey College will enter the championship as the No. 4 seed with its 7-4 conference mark.

Rounding out the participants are No. 5 University of Mount Olive (6-5), No. 6 Erskine College (5-6), No. 7 Southern Wesleyan University (4-7) and No. 8 Converse College (3-8).

The 2018 Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Championship will be hosted by Erskine College on Friday, Apr. 20 - Sunday, Apr. 22 at Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.

Quarterfinal 1: No. 8 Converse vs. No. 1 Chowan - 9 a.m.

Quarterfinal 2: No. 5 Mount Olive vs. No. 4 Belmont Abbey - 9 a.m.

Quarterfinal 3: No. 6 Erskine vs. No. 3 Limestone - 9 a.m.

Quarterfinal 4:  No. 7 Southern Wesleyan vs. No. 2 Barton - 9 a.m.

 

Saturday, Apr. 21 (at Sumter, S.C.)

Semifinal 1: QF 1 Winner vs. QF 2 2 Winner - 9 a.m.

Semifinal 2: QF 3 Winner vs. QF 4 Winner - 9 a.m.
