Chowan's Novachuk Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Chowan University's Polina Novachuk was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played Apr. 9-15, the Conference announced today. This marks her fifth POTW honor of the season and Chowan's seventh straight.

Novachuk, a senior from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, went a combined 4-0 last week at the No. 1 singles and doubles flights to lead Chowan to an undefeated 11-0 record in conference play and regular season Conference Carolinas title in its first year in the league.

Southern Wesleyan University:
No. 1 Singles - 8-6
No. 1 Doubles - 8-5

North Greenville University:
No. 1 Singles - 8-0
No. 1 Doubles - 8-1
