Limestone's Sisk Named Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College attack Shannon Sisk has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 26 - Apr. 1, the Conference announced today. This marks Limestone's second straight POTW honor and third overall of the season.
A senior from Brooklin, Ontarion, Sisk dished out nine assists and netted one goal for 10 points in No. 7 Limestone's 19-3 drumming of Emmanuel last week. She would also mix it up on the defensive end of the field, causing six turnovers while also scooping up five ground balls.
On the season, Sisk currently has 57 points on 39 assists and 18 goals to go with 29 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. Her 39 helpers rank first in Conference Carolinas, while her 57 points rank second in the league.
