Eight Conference Carolinas Baseball Players Named NCBWA All-Region; NGU's Powell Named Coach of the Year
WINGATE, N.C. - Eight Conference Carolinas baseball players were named to the 2018 Southeast All-Region teams by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the association announced Wednesday (May 16) night.
For the second straight year Conference Carolinas is home to the Southeast Coach of the Year, as North Greenville University's Landon Powell earned the honors.
University of Mount Olive led the way with three all-region selections, while North Greenville and Belmont Abbey College each placed two players on teams. Limestone College landed one all-region nod.
