Limestone's Smith Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College defender Jamie Smith has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Aug. 27 - Sept. 2, the Conference announced today.
A sophomore from Coldfield, England, Smith led the No. 14 Saints to a pair of wins to open the 2018 season 2-0. He would tally the match-winning assist in Limestone's come-from-behind, 3-2, double-overtime win over Lenoir-Rhyne to start the year. Smith then anchored a backline that would pitch a 1-0 shutout against Queens (N.C.) to close out the week.
Smith currently leads Conference Carolinas in assists (1).

Ben Delisle (King) - Two points on one goal in two matches.
Alfie Pope (Mount Olive) - Two points on one goal in two matches.
Alex Pico (Erskine) - Seven saves in 90 minutes of shutout action in one match.
