Amber Owens of Mount Olive Tabbed Conference Carolinas Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Amber Owens of Mount Olive has been tabbed as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019.
A native of Lincoln, England, Owens was the highest finishing NCAA Division II runner at the VertCross Invitational, which was a race consisting of mainly Division I runners.
The sophomore posted a time of 24:24.39 to finish 62nd individually.
